Andrea Templeton is an associate with the firm's Corporate and Tax practices, with a focus on U.S. federal and state tax analysis. At Perkins Coie, Andrea’s diverse practice includes providing federal income tax advice on corporate transactions, including analysis and negotiation of golden parachute tax provisions of acquisition documents and advising on state and local tax controversies. She has experience representing businesses of all sizes with tax matters arising in a variety of domestic and international transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and securities offerings. Andrea’s practice also includes advising on the formation of tax-exempt and nonprofit organizations and the organizational and practical steps required to maintain a charitable organization's tax-exempt status.
