Experienced litigator Anahit Samarjian represents companies and individuals in high-stakes commercial litigation in state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on all phases of complex commercial disputes, class action defense, antitrust, unfair competition and consumer protection disputes, employment litigation and intellectual property and trade secrets litigation. Anahit also has extensive experience in state and federal appellate and writ practice.
Anahit represents domestic and foreign individual and corporate clients in a broad range of industries, including technology and internet services, media and entertainment, financial services, consumer products, food and beverage and manufacturing.
Anahit defends clients in claims related to breach of contract, fraud, business torts and trade secret misappropriation under the Uniform Trade Secrets Act (UTSA). She is experienced in unfair competition and false advertising claims under California’s Unfair Competition Law (UCL), False Advertising Law (FAL) and Consumer Legal Remedies Act (CLRA) as well as warranty claims and other states’ unfair and deceptive trade practices acts. Anahit represents clients in copyright litigation matters, probate disputes and unlawful detainer actions.
With an active pro bono practice, Anahit has experience providing counseling to nonprofits and assisting with immigration cases.
