CHICAGO, Ill. (November 3, 2017) - Perkins Coie is proud to announce that Eric E. Walker, a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice, was named to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s (ABI) 2017 40 Under 40 Inaugural Class. The recipients of this initiative to “recognize & honor tomorrow's insolvency leaders today” will be honored at a special luncheon during ABI’s 2017 Winter Leadership Conference, which takes place on November 30, 2017 –December 2, 2017 at the La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, California.

Eric’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial litigation, financial restructuring and bankruptcy, including experience representing debtors, creditors, asset purchasers, examiners and trustees in bankruptcy proceedings throughout the country. He represents stalking horse bidders, asset purchasers, landlords and other constituents in out-of-court restructuring negotiations, bankruptcy and litigation, with particular expertise in the healthcare and hospitality industries. He is the current co-chair and former education director of the ABI’s Real Estate Committee and sits on the advisory board for the Annual ABI Central States Conference.

ABI was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues.
