CHICAGO, Ill. (May 8, 2017) – Daniel G. M. Marre, firmwide co-chair of Perkins Coie’s Hotels & Leisure industry group, has been elected a 2017 Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL). One of 41 fellows elected this year, Daniel joins four other Perkins Coie attorneys who are members of ACREL: Alexandra Cole, Mindy Wolin Sherman, Michael Barrett and Steven Pfeiffer.

Daniel has significant experience advising on real estate transactions and complex development projects, including a number of high-profile transactions in the hotel industry. His hotel clients range from small boutiques to some of the world’s largest hotels and management companies. His representation includes the acquisition and financing of the Essex House Hotel in New York City and The Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach, and that of a joint-venture interest and refinancing of The Hotel del Coronado in Coronado, California. Daniel is ranked nationally by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in leisure and hospitality, was selected for The Best Lawyers in America 2016: Real Estate Law, and has been listed as an Illinois Super Lawyer in Law & Politics every year since 2013.
