SEATTLE (March 4, 2021)—Perkins Coie client Auth0, a leading identity platform for application teams, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Okta, a leading independent identity provider, in a stock-for-stock transaction valued at approximately $6.5 billion. Together, Okta and Auth0 address a broad set of identity use cases in the $55 billion identity market.

The Perkins Coie M&A team representing Auth0 in the transaction is led by partners David Clarke and Nick Davis and includes counsel David Martinez and associates Andrew Perez and William Gillis.
