SEATTLE (December 20, 2019) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it has been ranked among the 2019 Best Workplaces for Diversity™ by Great Place to Work® and Fortune.

“The diversity of our attorneys and professional staff provides a range of perspectives and experiences that directly benefits our firm culture and the work we do for global clients,” said Perkins Coie’s Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer Genhi Givings Bailey. “While we have more work to do, we appreciate this recognition of the firm as a diverse workplace.”

The Best Workplaces for Diversity™ list focuses on the experiences of women, people of color, LGBTQ individuals, and workers who are baby boomers or older or who have disabilities; the ranking is based on a survey of these employees. The survey addresses different factors, including the trust, pride and camaraderie these employees experience in the workplace.

This is the latest recognition of Perkins Coie’s commitment to diversity. In addition, the firm has been named one of the “Top 100 Law Firms for Women” by WomenInc. magazine, and as a Top 10 Firm for Gender Equality by Yale Law Women. Perkins Coie has also earned the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s top rating of 100 percent in the Corporate Equality Index for 11 years.
