SEATTLE (March 1, 2021)—Perkins Coie is proud to announce that six partners and three practice areas have been ranked by Chambers & Partners, publishers of the 2021 Chambers Global Guide, for exceptional work in the United States and China.

The following partners were recognized by Chambers & Partners:

John Delaney, a partner in the Technology Transactions & Privacy Law practice, was recognized for excellence in his outsourcing work, including negotiating complex IT and business process outsourcing contracts and service level agreements; joint ventures; software and content development agreements and licenses; and similar transactions.

Carl Frischling, a partner in the Investment Management practice, was named a senior statesperson in recognition of his work with registered investment funds, including investment fund formation, with the development, structuring, and management of mutual funds, and with federal regulatory obligations for independent investment directors and trustees.

Michael House, co-chair of the firm’s International Transactions & Trade practice, was named to the “Spotlight Table” for his work on international trade and multilateral disputes before the World Trade Organization, trade remediation investigations, and import/export licensing and control matters before U.S. government entities.

Janis Kestenbaum, a partner in the Privacy & Security practice, was recognized for her successful track record representing both major corporations and startups in investigations by the Federal Trade Commission, state attorneys general, and foreign data protection authorities.

Scott Palmer, managing partner of Perkins Coie’s Beijing office and a partner in the Intellectual Property practice, was recognized as a leader in international intellectual property work, including enforcement, dispute resolution, trademarks, and licensing matters in the People’s Republic of China.

Michael Wise, chair of the firm’s Life Sciences & Healthcare industry group, was recognized for his intellectual property work, including patent portfolio management and complex contested patent matters in the life sciences industry. Michael was recognized for his “Foreign Expertise in China” and “Expertise Based Abroad in China” in the rankings.

The 2021 Chambers Global Guide additionally ranked the firm in the following three practice areas: Intellectual Property (Patent), Privacy & Data Security, and Technology Sector (International & Cross-Border).
