CHICAGO (June 23, 2021)—Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that it has been named one of the 2021 “Best Law Firms for Women” by Seramount, which was formerly Working Mother Media. The 2021 list recognizes the leading U.S. law firms for their policies on recruiting, retaining, promoting, and developing women attorneys. Perkins Coie is one of just eight firms that have been featured on the list 13 times.

The list highlights law firms that offered more enhanced parental leave benefits and encouraged more attorneys to work remotely and use flexible hours than prior to the COVID-19 pandemic affecting the U.S. economy. It also focuses on the increased number of women attorneys promoted to equity partner and the rise of formal mentoring programs for women, among other benchmarks.
