DALLAS, Tex. (December 7, 2016) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Kyle Wood has joined the firm’s Technology Transactions and Privacy practice as senior counsel in the Dallas office. Kyle will focus his practice on complex transactional technology, intellectual property, data protection and cybersecurity matters.

Kyle advises startups and FORTUNE 100 companies in the telecommunications, information technology, internet, medical devises, biotechnology and energy industries on technology transactions and privacy matters, including data protection and cybersecurity. He counsels on venture capital funding and drafts and negotiates intellectual property agreements related to corporate and financial transactions, including public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions and joint venture formations.

Kyle has served as in-house counsel at private and public technology and software companies. Prior to joining Perkins Coie, he was counsel at Andrews Kurth. Kyle earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.
