DALLAS, Tex. (September 20, 2017) – Perkins Coie, an international law firm with offices across the United States, including in Texas, is donating $50,000 to support the massive relief operation underway in Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. The funds will go to Houston Food Bank, Lone Star Legal Aid and Houston Habitat for Humanity, three organizations that provide food, shelter and legal services for storm victims.

“Having had an office in Texas since 2010, we are committed to responding to the enormous need to help those who have been devastated by this formidable disaster, including the many family members and friends of our Dallas-based lawyers and staff,” said Bobby Majumder, Dallas Office Managing Partner at Perkins Coie.

In addition to the $50,000 donation mentioned above, the firm’s attorneys and staff in Dallas organized a fundraiser to support the American Red Cross Relief Fund with Perkins Coie matching individual donations.
