SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (May 17, 2017) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Meredith A. Jones-McKeown has joined the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Construction practices as a partner in the San Francisco office.

“Meredith has an exceptional track record as a litigator and trusted advisor for construction industry clients,” said Katie O’Sullivan, Chair of Perkins Coie’s Commercial Litigation practice. “She is highly regarded and sought after in the Bay Area for her understanding of the complexities of the business and building environment. Meredith strengthens Perkins Coie’s presence in California and I am delighted to welcome her to the firm.”

Meredith advises on both transactional and litigation matters and represents clients in complex private and public construction projects and real estate disputes, including all types of construction disputes including delay and disruption claims, payment remedy disputes, and construction defect claims. She also advises clients in developing and negotiating EPC, design-build, and other complex construction contracts. Previously, Meredith practiced at Sheppard Mullin, where she was co-chair of the construction practice and co-managing partner of Sheppard’s San Francisco office. Meredith earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley and received her B.A., cum laude, from Columbia University.

Meredith has received several accolades, including recently being named one of the “Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business” by the San Francisco Business Times. She has been designated a “Rising Star” by Northern California Super Lawyers every year since 2011, ranked by Chambers USA as one of “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business” as an “Up and Coming” Lawyer in Construction Law and was described as a “very solid construction lawyer with experience beyond her years” by the Legal 500.
