SEATTLE (August 21, 2009) - Perkins Coie announced that Charles Blumenfeld has rejoined the firm's Environment, Energy & Resources practice as of counsel  He will be based in the firm’s Seattle office.

 

Blumenfeld's practice focuses on representing clients in permitting and enforcement matters under the federal and state Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, RCRA, CERCLA and MTCA.  His practice also includes advising on the siting of major facilities such as power generation projects.

Blumenfeld returns to the firm after spending two years at the University of Washington as the Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations and Executive Director of the UW Alumni Association.  He earned both his B.A. and his law degree from University of Washington.
