WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 21, 2011) – Bob Bauer has rejoined Perkins Coie as partner in the Washington, D.C. office in the firm's Political Law Practice. Bauer rejoins the firm after serving as White House Counsel since November 2009.

Bauer resumes his practice, focusing on serving as general counsel to the President’s reelection campaign, general counsel to the Democratic National Committee and personal lawyer to President Obama.

 

“Bob is a good friend and has served as a trusted advisor for many years,” said President Obama in a statement released by the White House. “Bob was a critical member of the White House team. He has exceptional judgment, wisdom, and intellect, and he will continue to be one of my close advisors.”
