On January 20, 2021, Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and Kamala D. Harris were sworn in as the new president and vice president of the United States. Over the past year, attorneys across our firm, led by our Political Law Group, have worked on behalf of the Biden-Harris campaign and other firm clients to protect and safeguard voting rights, to help ensure every citizen has the right to vote, and to uphold the integrity of our electoral process—the cornerstone of our democracy.

In the 2020 election cycle alone, our attorneys secured over 100 victories on behalf of our clients, including over 60 post-election wins. There were important legal victories in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Our attorneys advised candidates and committees on multiple recounts across the country, with some still ongoing. Additionally, our team worked with clients at the state and federal levels, helping candidates and committees navigate all legal aspects of the campaign and election process. The work and dedication shown in support of our clients are each truly commendable.

Through these efforts, our firm has played a leading role in upholding the principles and institutions that support our electoral process and lie at the heart of our democracy. We take pride in our firm’s role at this historic moment.

“The firm has one of the largest and most prestigious political law groups in the country.”
