Tom Johnson, a partner in the firm's Litigation group, has led clients through a variety of complex business disputes, including securities, corporate governance, antitrust, and business tort litigation. He regularly represents clients in state and federal courts, at both the trial and appellate levels, as well as in private arbitrations. Tom has also assisted clients in responding to government inquiries and by conducting internal investigations involving allegations of financial fraud and deficient internal controls.
Tom litigates and consults on political law issues, including the 2001 trial in Oregon to settle redistricting issues following the 2000 Census.
Tom also assists clients with distinctly international issues, including the enforcement of international arbitration awards and compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
