Tom Lindley Comments on Increased Federal Environmental Regulation for Obama Administration

The Obama administration has promised more regulation and increased enforcement actions on many sectors, including environmental. Tom Lindley, Partner and Environment, Energy & Resources Chair, remarked on the increase in the Law360 article "Teamwork, Turf Wars for State AGs Under Obama."

"The Obama administration will also be more supportive in a court setting by providing statements or regulatory positions that support the positions that the environmental organizations might take," Lindley said. "More decisions of that sort, coming out of an Obama administration, will embolden the environmental organizations, and potentially some state attorneys general."
