T. Markus Funk's FCPA resolution debated before ABA Criminal Justice Section Council

T. Markus Funk, a white collar partner at Perkins Coie and former federal prosecutor, was tapped to draft and present a resolution at the ABA Criminal Justice Section Council meeting to clarify the FCPA.  Funk's resolution, among other things, sought to further define the FCPA scope and reach. Charles Duross, deputy chief of the U.S. Department of Justice's Criminal Division and FCPA Unit chief, appeared at the ABA's forum to debate the resolution with Funk. Funk's resolution, which will be voted on in April 2012, was supported by the current and in-coming chairs of the ABA Criminal Justice Section.
