Stewart Landefeld, partner and Chair of the firm's Business practice, has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of corporate governance and advice to boards of directors, mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, corporate finance, public offerings and IPOs, and venture capital. From December 2007 through October 2008, Stewart served as interim Chief Legal Officer, as interim Chief Compliance Officer, and then as Executive Vice President and General Counsel during the seizure of its banking subsidiaries and initial phase of Chapter 11filing of Washington Mutual, Inc.
