Simon Elected to Prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers

PORTLAND, ORE. (September 20, 2006) – Michael Simon, a senior litigator at Perkins Coie, was elected a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL). He is the seventh Perkins Coie attorney to be accepted into this prestigious organization.
The ACTL is considered to be the premier professional organization for trial attorneys in the United States and Canada. Membership is limited to the top 1% of the total lawyer population of any state or province, and only lawyers with at least 15 years' litigation experience can even be considered.

Simon is a former trial attorney with the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, in Washington, D.C., and a former Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia. He has a broad ranging litigation practice with a special focus on antitrust, class actions and appellate cases.
