Firmwide Management and Executive Committees
Steve Hedberg is a partner in the Portland office and has 25 years of experience working with clients to solve complex commercial and economic issues related to insolvent companies. From representing creditors in some of the nation's largest bankruptcy cases such as Enron, Pacific Gas & Electric, Delta Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and other cases, to representing middle-market companies in reorganizations and workouts or the purchase and sale of assets, Steve advises clients seeking cost-effective and creative ways to both resolve insolvency problems and take advantage of opportunities presented in insolvency circumstances. In Steve's practice he represents secured creditors, debtors, unsecured creditors' committees, asset purchasers, PACA creditors, claim purchasers/sellers and other constituencies in nonbankruptcy workouts, bankruptcies, state and federal receiverships, assignments for benefit of creditors and other in-court and out-of-court proceedings. Steve also counsels directors and officers in matters relating to insolvency and corporate governance.
