Stephen has developed practice depth in a diverse variety of coverage areas, and he has represented policyholder-clients in coverage cases that have involved directors and officers liability, professional liability, environmental liability, employment practices liability, products liability, toxic torts, cyber and privacy liability, intellectual property claims, historic abuse claims, government and regulatory claims, construction defect claims, product recall, employee dishonesty, as well as first-party property and business interruption losses. Stephen also regularly counsels clients regarding policy language, policy renewals, and securing payment of claims without resorting to litigation.
In his intellectual property litigation practice, Stephen primarily represents corporate clients in trademark and trade dress litigation matters, as well as trade secret misappropriation cases. Stephen also represents clients in various commercial disputes, including contract disputes and insurance broker negligence cases.
