Stacey Scriven Bernstein is an associate in the firm's Environment, Energy & Resources practice and focuses her practice on complex administrative law and regulatory litigation. She assists clients facing a broad range of regulatory issues under federal and state environmental laws, including the Clean Water Act (CWA), the Clean Air Act (CAA), the National and State Environmental Policy Acts (NEPA/SEPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), CERCLA and MTCA. She also represents energy clients in litigation and compliance matters under the Federal Power Act (including NERC/WECC audits), the Natural Gas Act and pipeline safety laws. When water issues arise, Stacey counsels clients regarding water right acquisitions, changes, transfers, leases and trusts; water right audits; water supply contracts; water rights for mining and irrigation; rainwater harvesting; exempt wells; and related regulatory compliance issues.
