Siddesh Bale, an associate in the Perkins Coie Business practice group, focuses on private equity, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions transactions. He has experience representing public and private companies, private equity firms, and investment and hedge funds in an array of corporate transactions, including venture investments, mergers, acquisitions (both asset and stock), divestitures, financings (including angel and follow-on rounds), fund formation, and general corporate matters, across multiple industries. Prior to arriving at Perkins Coie LLP, Siddesh practiced mergers and acquisitions in Singapore representing U.S. and international companies, as well as state-owned enterprises doing business throughout Southeast Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Siddesh’s experience includes:

  • Acting for a medical devices company to fundraise in connection with a Series B financing;
  • Acting for a telecom start-up in connections with corporate governance and fundraising matters;
  • Acting for a private equity fund in its US$900 million asset acquisition of California timberlands from a debtor-in possession;
  • Acting for a U.S. subsidiary of an Australian public company in their strategic acquisition of multiple environmental testing businesses across the United States;
  • Acting for a Southeast Asian state owned oil company in their stock and membership interest acquisitions in oil ventures in Europe and Latin America;
  • Acting for an English private equity fund in their US$100 million acquisition of an international secondary school in Singapore;
  • Acting for a major U.S. clothing company to establish manufacturing facilities and operations in Vietnam through joint ventures;
  • Acting for a major US real estate management services company in their US$155 million strategic stock acquisition of another real estate management services organization; and
  • Acting for various investment funds (including fund of funds) in fund formation activities including negotiations with limited partners, investment of committed capital and general corporate matters.
Siddesh passed the SEC series 7, 24, 55 and 63 exams and performed an internship with the Appeals Division of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda in 2004. He currently serves on the Perkins Coie Community Service Committee and is co-chair of the firm's South Asian diversity subgroup. Siddesh is an avid traveler and baseball fan.
