Richard R. Rohde

Dick Rohde, a partner and Co-Chair of the firm's Licensing & Technology practice, focuses his practice on licensing and technology transfers and the commercialization of technology.  He represents clients ranging from emerging companies to public corporations in a variety of technology industries, including computer information, software developers, online service companies, medical device and biomedical engineering companies.

Dick's areas of emphasis include research and development of technology, product distribution, patent portfolio management, technology transactions with universities, clinical trials for medical devices companies, and outsourcing.  He has extensive experience representing clients in company formation, joint ventures and strategic alliances, private financings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Dick is a frequent speaker and participant at various legal seminars sponsorord by organizations, including Washington Software Board, Law Seminars International, and Pacific Rim Computer Law Institute.
