Richard London Joins Perkins Coie's Business Practice

DALLAS (March 4, 2011) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Richard London has joined the firm’s Dallas office as of counsel in its Business practice. He was formerly with Vinson & Elkins L.L.P. "We are pleased to welcome Richard to the firm,” said Steven Smith, Dallas Office Managing Partner. "We know Richard's extensive restructuring experience will be an asset to our team and our clients." London focuses his practice on out-of-court and bankruptcy restructurings and liquidations. London's clients include borrowers, secured creditors, trustees, purchasers of assets, litigants, and unsecured creditors. He has represented clients in various aspects of bankruptcy cases, including contested matters and adversary proceedings. London received his J.D., with honors, from The University of Texas School of Law and his B.B.A. in the Business Honors Program and Management Information Systems, with highest honors, from The University of Texas. London joins Perkins Coie's Dallas office, which focuses on real estate and commercial law matters, including real estate workouts, lending, commercial mortgage backed securities (CMBS) and financing. The attorneys in the firm's Dallas office are particularly focused on CMBS special servicers, as well as conduit and other lenders involved in the financing of commercial real estate.
