Peter Tracey is a member of the firm's Insurance Recovery practice. Peter represents policyholders in the resolution of complex coverage disputes and has represented a broad range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, privately held corporations, professional firms, and governmental entities. He has been involved in the negotiation, mediation, arbitration, litigation, appeal, and settlement of coverage disputes under various lines of insurance, such as commercial general liability, directors and officers liability, professional liability and first-party property policies.
Peter has also counseled numerous clients concerning the insurance due diligence aspects of corporate acquisitions and has extensive experience in the negotiation of surety bonding programs for mining companies.
In addition to his insurance practice, Peter has represented clients in a variety of commercial disputes, including litigation involving Delaware corporate law issues.
Peter has lectured and written on insurance and corporate law matters, and is the co-author, with Sherry R. Fallon of "Insurance Coverage Law in Delaware" (National Business Institute 1996).
