Lisa Marshall Manheim

Lisa Manheim, an associate in the firm's litigation and appellate practices, has experience in a range of matters, including those involving intellectual property, antitrust, business torts, privacy issues, political law, and commercial contract disputes. Her work includes both the defense and prosecution of client claims.

Before joining the firm, Lisa served as a law clerk to the Honorable Anthony M. Kennedy of the United States Supreme Court and the Honorable Pierre N. Leval of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. As a law student, she served as Managing Editor of the Yale Law Journal and worked closely with counsel for Salim Ahmed Hamdan during the preliminary stages of a case that was eventually addressed by the Supreme Court in a landmark decision, Hamdan v. Rumsfeld.

Lisa's pro bono work includes matters related to asylum and other immigration issues, criminal defense, and civil rights. She is a Seattle native.
