Represented Texas Instruments in patent infringement/antitrust action, including assisting in defending against antitrust claims and dismissal of per se tying claims and monopolization claims.

Represented Encyclopedia Britannica in patent litigation involving GPS mapping device technology.

Defended Chinese telecommunications company in preliminary injunction hearing and subsequent litigation regarding computer router technology.  Matter resolved after motions practice.

Represented inventors in dispute with former employer over ownership of breakthrough cloning technologies.

Represented Succeed Management Solutions in case involving allegations of trade secret misappropriation, copyright infringement and unfair competition.  Matter resolved through mediated settlement.

Represented Microsoft Corp. in a number of antitrust actions brought by indirect purchasers and competitors in state and federal courts across the country. Took to trial antitrust class action in Iowa state court, which ended in settlement. Defeated efforts to impose liability through collateral estoppel.

Represented Qualcomm in an antitrust suit involving allegations of misconduct before a Standard Setting Organization. Obtained summary judgment dismissing group boycott antitrust claims.

Represented Visa against indirect purchaser actions filed in state courts across the country. Visa’s motion to dismiss on antitrust standing and venue grounds granted.

Represented Kohler in patent and antitrust litigation regarding riding lawn mower engine technology.

Representing Baker Tilly, a national accounting firm, in insurance recovery action against its insurer. Outcome is pending. No. 12-CV-381
