Pam Anderson has more than 25 years of experience in regulatory proceedings, litigation, and policy in the energy industry. Pam's practice has recently evolved to focus on energy issues involving climate change. She represents natural gas and electric utilities, rural cooperatives and municipalities, hydropower producers, oil and gas producers, pipeline and storage companies, renewable energy developers and large consumers of energy resources throughout the country. She has represented clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the North American Reliability Corporation (NERC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as well as various state utility commissions.
Pam counsels clients on utility rate and prudency issues, climate change, policy matters and rulemakings, affiliate transactions, Presidential Permits, electric reliability, Dodd-Frank compliance, energy efficiency and conservation rules as well as investigations and enforcement proceedings. She also advises companies on drafting and negotiating energy transactions, including power purchase agreements, natural gas and pipeline capacity procurement, biomethane and renewable natural gas agreements, infrastructure agreements and the purchases and sales of environmental attributes.
