Perkins Coie's Michael Glaser Named Among 40 Under 40

MENLO PARK, CALIF. (October 1, 2007) – Perkins Coie announced today that Menlo Park attorney Michael Glaser has been named one of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal's "40 under 40." Recognized for their leadership in business and service to the community, the 40 under 40 are considered to be amongst the most accomplished young executives in the Silicon Valley.
A partner in the firm's national Emerging Companies practice, Glaser has led clients in the enterprise software, digital media, fixed and mobile communications, semiconductor, and e-commerce sectors through more than 250 venture capital financing transactions with aggregate proceeds in excess of $1.5 billion. He also has an active M&A practice in which he advises clients in complex mergers and strategic business combinations ranging in size from several million dollars to hundreds of millions of dollars. Glaser is also very active in the community. He works with a number of non-profit organizations, including The Blind Judo Foundation, For the Love of Life, Care Through Action, Global Social Equity, Halls of Learning, San Francisco Innovative Fashion Council and Panango.
Glaser is often a speaker, panelist and moderator at technology business events sponsored by organizations such as Red Herring, IBDNetwork, TiEcon and the Hastings Business Law Journal.
