Perkins Coie's Melanie Rubocki Named Among the Accomplished Under 40

Press Release

BOISE, IDAHO (May 21, 2008) – Perkins Coie announced today that attorney Melanie Rubocki has been named one of the "Accomplished Under 40" by the Idaho Business Review. She was selected from more than 100 nominees from across the state. Judges ranked applicants in the areas of professional accomplishment, leadership, community involvement and long-term goals.

A partner in the Perkins Coie's national Business practice, Rubocki focuses on mergers and acquisitions, emerging growth companies, private equity and venture capital, corporate governance and transactions, financial transactions and restructurings, as well as real estate transactions and financings. She has represented corporate clients in debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, technology transfer transactions, and commercial real estate transactions and financings.

"Melanie very much deserves this recognition," said Bob Maynard, Boise managing partner. "Everyday she demonstrates a tireless commitment to helping her clients and bettering the community as a whole."

Rubocki joins several attorneys at the firm who have been recognized for their "under 40" accomplishments. This month, Menlo Park Partner Shaalu Mehra was named a "40 Under 40" by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal. In March 2008, Partner Sarah Crooks was named one of the "40 Under 40" by the Portland Business Journal. In 2007, Crooks' colleague and Portland Partner Tom Johnson was also named one of the Portland Business Journal's "40 under 40." In October 2007, Menlo Park Partner Michael Glaser was named to the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal's "40 under 40."
