Perkins Coie Welcomes Diverse Group of New Associates

SEATTLE (September 21, 2005) – Perkins Coie is welcoming a diverse group of 37 first-year associates to its offices across the country this fall. The associates will practice in Anchorage, Bellevue, Wash., Chicago, Los Angeles, Menlo Park, Calif., Phoenix, Portland, Ore., Seattle, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.
Members of the group graduated from 23 law schools across the country, from Stanford and Boalt to Georgetown and Harvard. Forty-one percent of the associates are women, and 24 percent are minorities.
"We are pleased to have such a talented, diverse group joining us this year," said Office Managing Partner Robert E. Giles.
