Perkins Coie Seattle Ranked Top Firm by Corporate Board Member

SEATTLE (May 25, 2011) – Perkins Coie proudly announces that it has been ranked as the top corporate law firm in the Seattle market and among the top 3 in the Portland market by Corporate Board Member magazine.

The annual study identifies the top 25 national corporate law firms and the top three corporate law firms in 25 major metropolitan areas. The results are based on surveys of general counsel and directors serving on boards of publicly traded companies listed with the NASDAQ, New York or American Stock Exchanges. The respondents were asked to select the three local law firms they would most likely choose to aid their companies on a broad range of corporate legal issues. In Seattle, the firm was ranked as #1 for the ninth year in a row. In Portland, it was ranked #3.

This is the 11th year that Corporate Board Member has conducted its annual Legal Industry Research Study, sponsored by FTI, a Baltimore-based consulting firm. The results are published in the Second Quarter 2011 issue, "America's Best Corporate Law Firms."
