Perkins Coie Partner Fred Rivera Featured On NPR's National Radio Show

Fred Rivera, Perkins Coie Partner and Co-chair of the firm's Financial Services Litigation & Investigations practice, was featured on NPR's national radio show Marketplace. The story, which ran nationally on NPR stations, is on the Marketplace website as "Senate Republicans Block Cordray Nomination to CFPB."

The report addressed how the CFPB is hamstrung by the Senate's failure to approve a director. "Without a director, they are unable to regulate and oversee [mortgage brokers, payday lenders student loan lenders," Rivera stated in the on-air piece.
