SEATTLE (March 5, 2010) - Perkins Coie is honored to be the only AmLaw 100 firm with a top 10 ranking in overall patent quality as listed by Intellectual Asset Management magazine.

Intellectual Asset Management magazine, in connection with Ocean Tomo, compiled a ranking of law firms that, according to Ocean Tomo's proprietary metrics, secure the highest-quality patents for their clients in four areas – healthcare, information technology (IT), consumer electronics and industrials. The magazine published its results in an article entitled "Counting on Quality." Perkins Coie was ranked as one of the top IT firms as well as one of the best overall in all industries.
