Perkins Coie Names Tom Lindley Chair of Environment, Energy & Resources Practice

PORTLAND, ORE. (February 23, 2007) – Perkins Coie is please to announce that Tom Lindley has been named the new firmwide chair of the firm's Environment, Energy & Resources practice. He has been a partner with the firm for more than 10 years.
Lindley has more than 25 years of experience assisting clients on cutting edge environment and natural resource matters, including air, water, and hazardous waste and solid waste permits. He also advises clients on water quality and rights, the Endangered Species Act, enforcement defense, site investigations and remediation, and audits and due diligence. He provides strategic counseling and has extensive litigation and trial experience.
He is leading a team of more than 45 attorneys focused on environmental and natural resource issues. The group has extensive experience, working with businesses, financial institutions, trade associations, nonprofit organizations, government agencies and individuals to address environmental issues throughout the United States and abroad.
Lindley has been an adjunct professor at the Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law and the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law. He received his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.
