Perkins Coie Named a Top Workplace by Chicago Tribune
Press Release
CHICAGO (November 15, 2011) – The Chicago Tribune has named Perkins Coie's Chicago office as one the Top Workplaces of 2011. The Tribune survey of the best work places in Chicago placed Perkins Coie 19th among all area businesses with fewer than 250 employees. Perkins was one of only two law firms of any size on the Chicago Tribune list, which honored more than 100 Chicago area companies. “Being recognized by the Chicago Tribune as a Top Workplace is a wonderful honor and one that we accept with great pride,” said Chicago Office Managing Partner Chris Wilson. “We are especially proud of this award because it comes directly from our employees’ feedback, which we value and celebrate.” On behalf of the Chicago Tribune, WorkplaceDynamics LLC of Exton, Pa., a workplace survey specialist, conducted an engagement survey of Chicago-area employers with at least 100 employees. Evaluations for the Top Workplaces program were solely based on the feedback received from employee surveys distributed during the summer of this year. Sixty-one out of 145 Chicago-based employees provided their assessment of Perkins Coie in six different competitive categories: Direction, Pay & Benefits, Conditions, Execution, Managers and Career. According to the survey, when it comes to its employees, Perkins Coie excels at Direction, Execution, Career, Conditions and Pay & Benefits. To learn more, visit Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces 2011.
