Perkins Coie Lawyers Named to Lawdragon 500

Press Release

SEATTLE (October 3, 2007) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that five of its attorneys have been listed among the Lawdragon's leading lawyers and top dealmakers for 2007.

Litigation Partner David Burman and Business Partner David McShea were both named to the third annual Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America. Members of the annual listing are selected through a combination of online balloting and independent research, including interviews with thousands of lawyers to get their input on the top "dragons" in any region or practice field.

Partners Michael Barrett, Andrew Bor and Stewart Landefeld were named among the 500 Leading Dealmakers. Barrett, a member of the firm's Real Estate & Land Use practice, was noted for his work on Starbucks' new office headquarters and the sale of the Seattle-Tacoma Doubletree Hotel. Bor, part of the Business practice, was recognized for his work with Esterline Technologies acquisitions and Burlington Resources, Starbucks and ZymoGenetics IPOs. Landefeld, who is the firmwide chair of the Business practice, received kudos for his work with Cardiac Science's public offering, the merger between Expedia and InterActive, the sale of the Seattle SuperSonics and the acquisition of the Seattle Mariners.

Previous Perkins Coie attorneys named to the Lawdragon 500 include Eric Fjelstad, Paul Fortino, Tom Lindley, Mark Schneider and Bob Bauer, who was one of the original 500.
