Perkins Coie Launches New Blog: IP Litigation Update

Perkins Coie is proud to announce the launch of a new blog, IP Litigation Update, located at www.iplitigationupdate.com. Intellectual property (IP) laws are changing rapidly in response to new technologies. IP Litigation Update will provide timely and informative insights into new developments in the laws of copyright, trademark, and more, with a particular focus on how these developments apply to technology companies. The contributing authors to the blog are attorneys in the firm's IP Litigation group, including Jeremy Buxbaum, Christopher Coleman, Rebecca Engrav, Elizabeth McDougall, Autumn Nero, and Charles Sipos. IP Litigation Update already has close to 20 posts on a variety of highly relevant IP issues, such as the use of trademarked terms in domain names and safe harbors under the Digital Millenium Copyright Act. As well as describing the holding of a case, each post on the blog includes a “Lesson Learned” that distills the case into a takeaway point to apply in other situations.
