Perkins Coie Incorporates Real Estate Expertise into Denver Office—Karen Samuels Jones Joins the Firm

DENVER (January 13, 2005) – The Denver office of Perkins Coie announces that Karen Samuels Jones has joined the firm as a partner. As the firm continues to grow and enhance its real estate practice throughout the country, Ms. Jones' extensive expertise in real estate complements its national real estate practice and its comprehensive corporate legal services in the Denver office.

Formerly a partner with Gorsuch Kirgis LLP, Ms. Jones' practice emphasizes leasing and secured lending transactions, including franchise leases, construction lending, securitized lending, multi-property loan portfolios and other complex commercial real estate transactions. She will continue to provide services to lenders and national corporations in connection with negotiation and documentation of lending and leasing transactions.
