Perkins Coie Co-Sponsors Major Forest Management Conference in Boise

BOISE, IDAHO (November 22, 2004) – Perkins Coie joined several forest product companies and other institutions in sponsoring a conference convened by the Andrus Center for Public Policy on "Fire and Forest Health," in conjunction with the upcoming 100th anniversary of the the establishment of the USDA Forest Service. The November 18-19, 2004 conference, which featured leading political, media, academic, industry, federal, state, and local government and citizen group speakers and panelists, was attended by over 350 persons from around the nation. Perkins Coie, along with Boise Cascade, Bennett Forest Industries, Potlatch, Stimson Timber, and forest industry trade associations, was recognized as co-sponsors in the printed materials and during the conference presentations. Bob Maynard represented the Firm at the event and networked with clients and other valuable contacts.
