Perkins Coie Attorneys Recognized in the Debut Issue of Benchmark: Litigation

SEATTLE (December 10, 2007) – Several Perkins Coie attorneys were recognized as leaders in their field in the premiere edition of Benchmark: Litigation, a directory focused exclusively on the U.S. litigation market. Four of the firm's offices were also named to the "highly recommended" or "recommended" categories for litigation services.

To compile its rankings, the Benchmark research team conducted extensive face-to-face and telephone interviews with the nation's leading private practice lawyers and in-house counsel. Survey respondents were asked to name the best all-around, bet-the-company firms and professionals. In total, nine Perkins Coie attorneys were named local litigation stars, with an additional four receiving special recognition.

In Arizona, the firm's Phoenix office received a highly recommended ranking and Partners Paul Eckstein and Joe Mais were named local litigation stars. Partners Joel Nomkin, Howard Cabot and Jordan Green were also noted for their litigation and appellate experience.

In Idaho, Partners Richard Boardman and Kelly Cameron were featured as local litigation stars and the Boise office received a recommended ranking. Labor & Employment Partner Shelly Cozakos also received recognition.

Perkins Coie's Portland office was rated as a highly recommended firm in the Oregon market. Partners Austin Crowe, Paul Fortino, James Gidley and Michael Simon were each named as local litigation stars.

And in Washington, the firm's Seattle office was also rated as a highly recommended firm with Partners David Burman, Elizabeth McDougall and Harry Schneider each recognized as local litigation stars.
