Perkins Coie Attorneys Present a Panel on the Topic of "Dealing with Increased Federal Scrutiny"

On February 1, Christine Williams, Rick Oehler, and Don Carney presented a panel on the topic of "Dealing with Increased Federal Scrutiny" at the National 8(a) Association's Winter Conference in Orlando, Florida.  Their panel was one of only two legal panels. The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce also co-sponsored the event. The term 8(a) refers to the Small Business Administration's Program to help minority and other small disadvantaged businesses to grow through a program of Federal contracting preferences and set-asides.  The conference included 300 participants including Alaska Native Corporations and Tribal, Native Hawaiian, and Minority organizations and businesses.
