Perkins Coie Attorneys Author Legal Times Article on Government Interrogation Contract Dispute

Congress and the Defense Department recently took contradicting positions as to whether the conduct of military interrogations performed under the direction and control of the Defense Department is an inherently governmental function that cannot be performed by contractors. D.C. office partners Donald Carney and Hartmann Young, and associate Maggie Croteau authored a Legal Times article titled “Signaling No to Interrogation by Contractor,” that examined the opposing positions of Congress and the Defense Department and the need to resolve the resulting uncertainty.
