Perkins Coie Announces New Portland Managing Partner

PORTLAND, ORE. (February 21, 2003) – Perkins Coie announced that Steve Hedberg has been selected Managing Partner of the firm's Portland office. Steve is National Chair of the firmwide Commercial Transactions Practice Group. His practice includes insolvency and bankruptcy matters, workouts, creditor's rights and related litigation, and troubled mergers and acquisitions. He has been a partner with the firm since 1992 and has served on many firmwide committees.

Roy Tucker, the outgoing Portland Managing Partner, served in this capacity for seven years. During his tenure the Portland office doubled in size and added three new Practice Groups. Roy will continue to serve Perkins Coie on the firmwide Management and Executive Committees and will remain the Chair of the Portland office's Corporate Department. Roy represents emerging growth and public companies.
