Perkins Coie Adds Licensing & Technology Of Counsel in Washington, D.C.

SEATTLE (December 20, 2011) – Perkins Coie is pleased to announce that Jacob Farber has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the firm’s Licensing & Technology practice. He joins the firm in Washington, D.C. where he previously served as Counsel at Dickstein Shapiro.

“We are happy to have Jacob join our team in DC. He is a great addition to our growing office, and we are looking forward to drawing on his considerable knowledge of technology licensing and transactions and communications regulatory matters,” said Bill Malley, Washington, D.C. Office Managing Partner.

Farber will focus his practice on representing telecommunications and technology companies in a wide variety of transactional, licensing, outsourcing and mergers & acquisitions matters. He also represents small and large enterprises, government entities and other organizations in negotiating agreements with telecommunications providers.

His practice also includes representing telecommunications, cable, wireless, IP-enabled provider, broadcast and other clients before the Federal Communications Commission and state public utility commissions.

Farber earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and his B.A., with honors, from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the Federal Communications Bar Association.
