Patrick Collins was quoted in a New York Times article following the Blagojevich verdict on the Future of Political Corruption in Illinois

In a New York Times article entitled "For Illinois, Blagojevich is Only the Latest to Fall," Patrick Collins, partner and former Chair of the Illinois Reform Commission, opined that the conviction of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich would not alone cure the ethical deficit in Illinois. "I don't think you can indict your way to reform," said Collins. "Ultimately, the long solution for Illinois is a more engaged public who steps up and demands better government before the next scandal develops."
