The more than 70 attorneys in the national Patent Litigation practice regularly represent many Fortune 100 and 500 companies in patent litigation cases involving technologies such as computer science, biotech, semiconductors, telecom, mechanical and electrical engineering, consumer products and medical devices. Our attorneys have tried and litigated cases across the country, including the major patent centers of Northern California, Chicago, Delaware, Los Angeles, New York and Texas. Because Perkins Coie is a full-service firm, our Patent Litigation attorneys can draw on the experience of more than 250 additional litigators, many with extensive trial experience in antitrust, trade secrets, copyright and trademark matters. 

Our Patent Litigation group also benefits from the expertise of 60 patent prosecutors in the national Patent group. The two practices combined contain more than 90 attorneys with hard science degrees, including 50 with electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science backgrounds. Few firms, if any, in the country have our patent litigation expertise plus deep technical bench in electrical engineering and computer science.
