Peter Archie, a partner in Perkins Coie’s business practice, has a broad range of experience advising aircraft purchasers, sellers, lessors and lessees in domestic and international transactions. He draws on more than 30 years’ experience in a broad range of domestic and international aircraft activities, including the purchase and sale of new and used aircraft; the sale of aircraft parts and charter businesses; aircraft operating, finance and leveraged leases; conventional and "reverse" like-kind exchanges of aircraft; analysis of fractional interest programs and negotiations with fractional operators; negotiating of charter agreements; U.S. registration of foreign-owned aircraft; aircraft construction, maintenance and management contracts; FAA compliance and lease restructuring. Clients include airframe and parts manufacturers, charter operators and customers; general aviation operators; and aircraft lessors and lessees. In addition to aircraft experience, Peter’s practice includes other types of asset-based work, principally project finance transactions.
