Press Release

SEATTLE (August 12, 2009) - Perkins Coie is pleased to announce Pamela J. Anderson has joined the firm’s Environment, Energy & Resources practice as a partner.  She will be based in the firm’s Bellevue office.

A partner in the Environment, Energy & Resources practice, she represents utilities, local distribution companies and natural gas, crude oil and products pipelines throughout the country.  A certified public accountant, Pam combines her legal and financial experience to help clients negotiate complex business transactions and conduct due diligence.

Pam advises energy companies on both reactive and proactive measures to ensure regulatory compliance and establish best practices in corporate governance and risk management.  In addition to her energy and power clients, Pam represents major natural gas pipelines and local distribution companies across the spectrum of federal regulatory issues, including all matters associated with regulatory compliance, rate litigation, certificates, and new construction and expansions, as well as oil pipeline clients and crude oil marketers on regulatory compliance and rate and tariff matters.

"We are really pleased to have Pam join our team," said Environment, Energy & Resources Chair Tom Lindley.  "We are committed to enhancing our already strong energy and cleantech practices, and Pam brings great financial and legal skills to both transactional and regulatory projects.  Our clients will benefit from her deep experience."

Pam earned her law degree from University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  She earned her B.S. from the University of Northern Colorado.
